His dedication to crafting the perfect wood-fired pizza has made him a local favorite. Using only the finest imported ingredients from Italy, Azad’s pizzas are the perfect balance of crispy crust and smoky flavor, made fresh to order with the care and passion he brings to every pie.  Andreia, known as the “pasta queen,” adds her own magic to our menu with fresh, homemade pasta dishes that bring a distinctive Brazilian twist to traditional Italian recipes. Whether it’s a creamy pasta or a hearty, flavorful dish, Andreia’s expertise in the kitchen takes every meal to the next level.  Together, Azad and Andreia are the driving force behind La Cucina di Sophia. At La Cucina di Sophia, we’ve spent nearly 7 years perfecting the art of Italian-Brazilian fusion. Our menu is a celebration of the best of both worlds, where traditional Italian pizza and pasta meet the bold, vibrant flavors of Brazil. Every dish is crafted using imported Italian ingredients, ensuring that each bite bursts with authenticity and freshness.

From our signature wood-fired pizzas to our mouthwatering Brazilian-inspired steaks, each meal is made to order and cooked with care in our authentic wood-fired oven. The combination of flavors and the quality of our ingredients set us apart, making La Cucina di Sophia a true culinary gem in Soap Lake.

We are a small but busy restaurant with only 12 tables. While we welcome walk-ins, seating is not always guaranteed, especially on weekends when we are normally fully booked days in advance. To avoid the disappointment of missing out on a table, we highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, particularly for weekend dinners. We want to ensure that you don’t miss the chance to experience our delicious dishes, so booking a table is the best way to guarantee your spot.
