Award-winning Coulee City artist Don Nutt celebrates the subtle natural beauty of the diverse landscape of eastern Washington in a way that is both intense and dramatic. "I'm inspired by the majestic grandeur of the Grand Coulee in which I live, as well as the forests and streams of the Cascades and the farmland and prairie of the Columbia Basin. I feel extremely fortunate to live in an area with such diversity within a few hours' drive." Much of his work is influenced by the colorful history of the Pacific Northwest, and many of his murals and paintings are exhibited at historical museums throughout the West.
